Where is Americo authorized to conduct business?
Americo Financial Life and Annuity Insurance Company is authorized to conduct business in the District of Columbia and all states except Alaska, New York, and Vermont. We also currently do not sell in Alabama or Mississippi.

How frequently does Americo pay agent commissions?
We pay commissions daily and weekly through EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) and monthly by check.

What Home Office support can I expect as a contracted agent?
Our dedicated and knowledgeable Sales Support staff provides you with prompt assistance in answering questions about product sales, product availability, software, Agent Café forms, and supply ordering procedures. Our Agent Contact Center, designed to be the primary contact point for agents after the sale, handles all new business, licensing, and commission questions. The Customer Service team, consisting of expertly-trained associates, can answer any policyholder questions.

In addition, we offer much more support through our secure agent website, Agent Café, and through a strong partnership with our IMOs and managing agencies.
